a recap of everything so far! i don't use beds, and i use a mod to prevent phantoms from spawning. i think this makes it more fun.

i created a little hobbit hole that i live in. a really cool video to watch is a tour of n00b_asaurus' minecart rail network. this led to a downward spiral of time and resources.

i created a minecart railway. it's very expensive it sucks but i enjoy it ♥

my current project is a small city inspired by that video. it's made out of dirt right now, a very good placeholder thing that i'm also running out of! hooray! this looks crime-ridden. i need sand. there's no sand around.

(left-to-right) iron farm, unfinished dirt buildings, canal and bridge, garden area, train station. aside from a few things, they're all built with dirt.

the railway goes into a little subway near the city with a restaurant and ticket area. copper is expensive and time-extensive. i adore the stonecutter.

a railway turns right into a subway. to the left is a work-in-progress train station building. a bridge above links the two buildings.

a demon looks into a barricaded restaurant in an unfinished subway far away from the camera.

the same demon sits and looks down at the table in the corner of the subway. it's unfinished, dirty, and dripping. it must be quite musty.

to fund these operations, i created an iron farm. it looks very unethical, but it's not my thing! it's rose's! i'm free of any ethical repercussions! copper pipes link the iron farm to rose's shop.

the squiggly iron pipes remind me of some other pipes i saw once. dunno why they were shaped like that. i feel like i'm doing some government job or something...

two squiggly iron pipes above ground and unfinished work for laying down a copper pipe between two locations underneath.

on the other side, past the alleyway, is a store inspired by some buildings in japan (kinda like michaelsoft binbows). the lower floor is a farmer's delight restaurant. the upper floor has a closet and maybe a dance studio :3c

anyway, that's all for now. perhaps i'll finally find some sand so this stops looking bad and i can stop using wood. there is very, honestly, no sand around. this is an island. i was almost locked at the mooshroom island a bit away from the big island because i'm assuming distant horizons and chunk generation were literally killing the server ticks.

also, the villagers are not closing their doors even when i moved their beds farther away; i'm assuming this is how many of the villagers gone missing aside from 2 when taking into account everything except that i took 3 villagers for the iron farm and lost 2 others because the zombie was too close

two villagers on wooden planks, leaving their doors open like lunatics

i'm starting to regret putting this on some big plains like it was a good spot for a wcdonalds. shoulda put this on a cliffside or something.

i'll sail for sand next time and maybe start a quarry.

a closeup of a demon, facing away, holding a BLÅHAJ looking into the bamboo at night with sand transitioning into a jungle. a firefly is visible.
