roblox games you should probably try

you may or may not like roblox but these
games experiences feel kinda good to play.
most of these games are popular, but some of these games are niche.
sadly, descriptions are short because i don't know how to articulate why i like these; i just do.
- hedgerows ii (low playtime)
- an fps war shooter that has vehicles and, during the first playtest, was pretty optimized and not that laggy for my integrated graphics computer ( 3: ). it opens up for playtests sometimes, but the movement is sorta muddy and i'm kinda losing faith in it.
- CENTAURA
- a war shooter that is fast-paced in almost every way (wow). death is quick (∼5 seconds) and you can respawn right on the frontlines where the action is happening.
- HOURS
- a strategic singleplayer melee rogue-like with three stages and many characters to play as with time manipulation as the central mechanic to integrate into your combat.
- dummies vs noobs
- a cooperative wave-based shooter game with multiple roles and neat movement options.
- HELLMET (low playtime)
-
made by the same team behind dvn, hellmet is a three player game
inspired by
nmrihREADY OR NOT SORRY NMRIH ON MY MIND ♥, which is a pretty strategic game. - guts & blackpowder
- a cooperative zombie game set during the napoleonic era that i've heard is pretty faithful. there are multiple gamemodes (campaign, endless, etc.), and it can get pretty chaotic and go wrong pretty quickly.
- wavedash
- a platformer that i believe is based off of celeste's wavedash mechanic. it's still being developed, but it's nice so far.
- era warfare
- a tf2-like with some classes merged into one; i believe it's a pretty interesting experience.
- nico's nextbots
- based off of that nextbots mode from gmod. there's this some sort of polish that this game has that i adore that is different from the somewhat overwhelming or developer art and feeling. it's refreshing. the maps are a bit detailed for my intel integrated graphics computer, however.
- arms of solitaire (low playtime post-revamp)
- it's ace of spades but roblos. you can build and destroy blocks to create a more interesting battleground.
- scorched earth (low playtime)
- a little slow-paced war shooter game
- stars align
- a nice platformer that may remind you of mario and (in particular) a hat in time with a pretty stylized... uh... style. it's pretty fun (but by it being in this list... i probably implied that)
- TUNNELER
- roblocks portal; it has nice graphics and gameplay i suppose.
- muffin assault (low playtime)
- wave-based cooperative shooter
- natural disaster survival (and "mods")
- odd mention, but nds is a sorta turn-your-brain-off kind of game.
- the flappy men
- a fast-paced shooter game with a lotta destruction and gameplay that may remind you of tf2 in a way. despite the fact i haven't played this in a while, it's really enjoyable and i highly recommend :3
- dead slate
- another zombie game that will remind you of l4d2's versus mode but with a lotta players. the art style is a little rugged (but i wouldn't describe it as pixel art) and i like it.
- trenches
- wow another war-based shooter game. you can make trenches, bridges, and shelters to move around faster and safer as well as play with magic-like gameplay and vehicles. the developers kinda created their own world with goblins among others.
- gun game 2 (dead)
- it's no longer updated and no people are playing this, but it's a multiplayer fps gun game that was fun while it lasted. the maps are pretty big, and it's sorta stylized.
- gunrunner
- straight from the description (Nov 7, 2024): "fast paced first person hotline miami inspired shooter with an emphasis on actual mobility (no autojumping and ADADAD spam because neither is a skill) "
- pirates vs. ninjas (no more updates)
- another fps shooter with multiple classes with different loadouts that allow you to move around in different ways. unfortunately, due to the group's decision, it's no longer being maintained since... February 2nd, 2023???? however, it still has an active playerbase as of November 7, 2024 (39 active). that's nice.
- blind babushka
- an entry for the Roblox Developer Conference (RDC) 2020 game jam. a quite short but lovely game that you'd probably play on your phone.
- boost vector
- one of the first roblox games i played and one of my favorites (that i forgot to put here lol). it's a racing game where you run and parkour and grind rails and stuff. there's rooms for shortcuts and achieving high speeds. it's just cool overall. please play.
