halloween and christmas decorations before the end of the year

i come back home via bus and i count the houses with decorations on the left and right sides of it.

pumpkins, by themselves, are a bit too ambiguous to classify as halloween decorations. they could also be autumn (common for pumpkin sightings) or thanksgiving decorations.

ornamental and led lights are also, by themselves, a bit too ambiguous to classify as christmas decorations.

wreaths are a bit too ambiguous as well unless they got jolly.

i suck at this.

apparently, a neighboring house keeps their christmas decorations up even after christmas ends. odd. i wonder when it'll go.

i also got actually good snow for the first time in quite a few years. i mean, the snowballs kept disintegrating in the air; the snow was powdery and its mass went back to my face, but it was fun. not good snowman snow, though.

sometimes, i forget how nice it feels just lay on the ground and embrace the purple sky and the clouds, layered and scattered, as they drift by.

the halloween decorations present are either already mild or got mild; the very overwhelming houses are now much less.

two houses on the right side on my walk home removed their decorations, and one of them changed to thanksgiving. another house also removed their decorations, which consisted of a few balloons, aside from a few, strangely enough.

the first day i can count after halloween. aside from a few houses, they are quite quick at taking them down. there are, currently, many more thanksgiving decorations: scarecrows, pumpkins, etc. i wouldn't be surprised if there are no halloween deocrations after Nov. 5th.
