cool fonts

a little collection of normal, monospace, and bitmap fonts that i found. some of these are popular, while some of these are a little less.

code blocks say what nix package it is for convenience; no code block means no nix package as of 24.11.

as you can see, bitmap font ♥

on nixos, tewi and spleen had a little collision error with fonts.dir using home manager; whether or not this was a me issue i don't know.

a collection of more bitmap fonts!!! these are used by the enlightenment "Window Manager, Compositor and Minimal Desktop for Linux (the primary platform), BSD and any other compatible UNIX system."

notes it has at least three variants:
  • cozette
  • cozette_hidpi
  • CozetteVector
if cozette doesn't work, try cozette_hidpi. if all else fails, use CozetteVector, which is blurry and pretty bad (the creator admits).
